摘要：
The pupal anatomy and taxonomy of 14 tree-hole Culicoides species were examined. Those species not previously described include Culicoides beckae, C. hinmani, C. lahillei, C. oklahomensis, C. ousairani, and C. paraensis. Two pupal forms of C. paraensis can be distinguished by the number of spines on the operculum. Two other species, C. flukei and C. villosipennis, were only partially described in previous literature.
