COMPARISON OF THE AMERICAN AND EUROPEAN SYSTEMS OF CERTIFICATION OF NDT SPECIALISTS

The article describes the American and European systems of qualification and certification of personnel engaged in quality control of industrial production by nondestructive methods. It is shown that these systems are alike as far as demands on the certified personnel are concerned but differ from each other in the appointment of the certifying authority.
