In this first report on P/M in Australia, attention is directed to industry activity and markets. The role of the Powder Metal Industries Association of Australia (PMIA) is also discussed. Products and services of member companies of PMIA are summarized and brief company profiles are included. Future directions for the P/M industry in Australia are delineated.
