Replacement of the Debye theta //D by the average phonon frequency in J. M. Rowell's linear T//c equation for superconducting materials not only improves his results but also describes the experimental results accurately and consistently for the various superconducting systems which cover the entire range of lambda between 0. 75 and 2. 6.
