摘要
Azotobacter chroococcum isolated from forest sails containing decaying wood efficiently cleaved 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid. The cleavage was profoundly influenced by cell concentration, moisture content of the soil and temperature at which the soil was incubated. Increase in cell concentration increased 2,4-D degradation. At 30-degrees-C, 58% of the 2,4-D was degraded and 50% moisture content favoured maximum degradation of 2,4-D.
