摘要：

Increasingly stringent demands on quality and plant productivity led to the building of an all-hydraulic SMX 180 machine for forging with the grain. Machine with a fully automatic walking beam furnace on the entry side and a fully automatic forged bar stacking system on the exit side. Machine description. production sequence, range of dimensions and products. Results of modernisation: manpower savings of 40 operators, improved output, enhanced process stability, performance up by a factor of 6 versus conventional open-die forging process, improved dimensional accuracy of products, finer and more uniform structure.
