Luisa Valenzuela and Body Epistemology as Foundation of Sabotage Writing

This essay analyzes the different meanings of body in Luisa Valenzuela's fictional writing. The aim is to demonstrate that the Body works as a versatile and multidimensional signifier, and for that, we will read exhaustively three of her novels: Hay que sonreir (1966), Novela negra con argentinos (1990) y Realidad nacional desde la cama (1990). Our main point is that Luisa Valenzuela is a sabotage female writer, so we will start explaining what we mean by "sabotage writing" from a methodological perspective, and we will go on exploring its specificities in Argentinian's writing. Next, this essay will focalize in the question of the body to reclaim its significance as epistemology.
