TECHNOLOGY FOR ACCELERATING DEPLOYMENT OF OPTICAL SUBSCRIBER NETWORKS - RT-ENCLOSURE AND AURORA

RT-Enclosure and AURORA are new developments supporting the promotion of optical subscriber networks. RT-Enclosure is an optical subscriber system for providing such communications services an analog telephone and ISDN. This system serves as an efficient replacement for existing small-sized crossbar exchanges in rural areas and provides communications services more cost effectively than existing metallic networks in newly developed areas. AURORA is an operation system to support construction and maintenance works for optical fiber lines. This system has functions of remote automatic test and administration for optical fiber cables.
