摘要
Injuries sustained from bear attacks are often severe or fatal. Victims may require hospitalization and/or surgical debridement. Occasionally, serial debridements and reconstructive surgery are necessary. This study identifies aerobic oral flora in black bears (Ursus americanus) and provides guidelines for antimicrobial prophylaxis of these wounds.
