INAUGURATION OF THE NEW BUILDING OF THE SOCIEDAD-MEDICA-DE-SANTIAGO (CHILEAN-SOCIETY-OF-INTERNAL-MEDICINE)

A new see for the Sociedad Medica de Santiago was inaugurated on May 25, 1994. Located in 488 Bernarda Morin St, the building houses the administrative offices of the Society, the editorial and administrative offices of the Revista Medica de Chile, the Library, a small Auditorium, and offices for several affiliated subspecialties. The ceremony was attended by the President of the Republic, the Minister of Health, representatives of the Parliament and the Medical Society. Father Renato Poblete, SJ, blessed the building.
