Immigration to Europe and Turkey

Based on the case of Germany, the subject of this article concerns the discussions continuing on the changing structure of immigration in the last two decades, the politics of Europe on immigration and how the immigration movements and immigrants have been situated. Germany is the country which receives immigrants from Turkey at the most. The biggest part of the immigrant community in Germany consists of Turkish immigrants. Thus, Germany has a great role on the politics of EU immigration policy concerning Turkey. Like other Northern Mediterreanean countries, Turkey has become an immigration accepting and passage country as much as an immigration sending one. Because Turkey is located on commonly used immigration roads toward Europe, it will be highly effected by the immigration politics of European Union Countries.
