摘要
To evaluate potential application of waste granulated rubber and sand mixtures (RSM) in civil engineering, the paper presents results from a laboratory investigation into the dynamic properties of waste granulated rubber and sand mixtures, as expressed by dynamic longitudinal modulus and damping ratio. The Influence of rubber content and confining pressures on dynamic longitudinal modulus and damping ratio of granulated rubber and sand mixtures were discussed respectively. The results indicated that a gradual increase in dynamic longitudinal modulus, damping ratio decrease slightly with the confining pressure increases. The addition of rubber to sand decreased the dynamic longitudinal modulus, namely, the higher the rubber content in the mixtures, the lower the dynamic longitudinal modulus. But the damping ratio of granulated rubber and sand mixture increases significantly with the rubber content increases.
