摘要
Cartagena elite groups in the city supported the project because the regenerator nationalist discourse of politics that this privilege was in accordance with a process of integrating the different sectors of power locally. This process less responsive to modernizing this speech and more to the existence of a traditional political culture, energized by a variety of social, family, professional, or economic dependency, friendship, interest and customer base. Regeneration helped negotiate elite groups, such as integrated and consolidated, mainly during two phases: the independence that goes from 1874 to 1884, and the nationalism that lies between 1885 and 1892.
