Attention to women in gender violence situation with demands in mental health

This article aims discuss the care offered to women in situations of violence with mental and/ or passage through psychosocial care network in two devices of the network care for women: Reference Center and Shelter for Women. This is a qualitative research characterized as an intervention research conducted in the year 2011. As methodological tools we used semi structured interviews with screenplays directed to thirteen professionals like social workers, lawyers, interns in psychology and management team. The interviews were analyzed from the perspective of French Institutional Analysis which requires the assumption of events analyzers for critical reading of the dimensions established practices of care staff in the study. Results show that the presence or suspected mental disorder has made impossible the reception of these women on these devices.
