MAGNETIC AND SUPERCONDUCTING PROPERTIES IN (LANDSR)2CUO4 AND (LAND)2CUO4

摘要
In order to study the effect of lantanide ions on superconductivity and magnetic properties, Nd ion are doped into La-Sr-Cu-O high-Tc superconductor. Doping of Nd ion which occupy La sites depresses the critical temperature Tc and brings about localization of carriers on the Cu-O plane, that is, leading to non-metallic characteristics. On the other hand, it was found that Nd-substitution for La in La2CuO4 smears out Neel temperature T(N) of Cu spins. These facts indicate that there exists some magnetic interaction between Nd and Cu-O plane.
