Nurse Licensure Compact and Nursing Shortage

As the Nurse Licensure Compact moves forward and gains support in additional states, the nurse moving from one location to another should be more readily available for practice. This will mean that the organization providing services across state lines will have less need for the nurse to acquire licenses within multiple states, creating a win-win situation all around. © 2005 Sage Publications.
