摘要：
The article examines the transformation of football clubs into social and sports entities in Cordoba during the interwar period. It analyzes their associative structures and material bases; the relation between sport competitiveness, economic growth and institutional expansion; and the development of other sports, social services and recreational and cultural activities. The increasing complexity and diversity of the associative framework of the clubs broaden their member's social base of their members and favored their insertion into a logic of mass spectacle.
