摘要：
In this paper a detailed lime kiln model is used to predict the results of kiln modifications. These predictions are then compared to actual mill data after the modifications were completed. Three different kiln retrofits are discussed and in each case mill data before and after the kiln retrofit are presented. Finally, the paper shows predicted energy savings resulting from multiple dams and the addition of dry cyclones prior to wet scrubbers for dust removal.
