摘要
The purpose of this paper is to address a series of issues related to reading, ecology and education, which always seem to be a subject of debate. This paper mostly deals with the action of reading as a set of practices that needs to be contextualised. This is precisely what new studies on literacy call for. Some of their concerns involve the fact that ecology, rather than a fashion, should be an imperative for the literacy of citizens and the fact that education should also be capable of answering the challenges and needs of this century's society. These are plans and commitments that demand a solution based on multiple perspectives for a set of problems that permeate our reality.
