摘要
To make their processes most effective and achieve competitive advantage, organizations seek improvements to assist and manage the innovation process. In this sense, the scenarios building has developed and enhanced in recent decades, consolidating itself in the creation of alternative future visions, and supporting strategic planning. Nevertheless, the increasing uncertainty and complexity of the business environment motivate questions about their effective contribution to achieving innovation and establishing competitive advantage. This study aimed to investigate the contributions of scenarios building to support the innovation process in organizations. For this, a systematic review of the literature was carried out, identifying 219 works, 13 of which were analyzed in full. As a result, technical contributions to the Front End of innovation elements were highlighted, in addition to their use as a knowledge-sharing mechanism; networking and open innovation; and as support to the organizational learning process.
