摘要：
In this paper, the historical basics of computer simulation are presented, the elementary simulation process is discussed, and several application areas of simulation in the field of business and management are highlighted. It is not the aim of the author to make the business manager an expert, but to provide him a soft introduction to consider the potentials of computer simulation as an effective and efficient decision-support tool to deal with a wide variety of complex management decision problems.
