The reduced probabilities of intraband M1-transitions in odd-odd nuclei depend strongly on states of odd nucleons, which form two-quasi-particle configurations. The quantitative estimate of these probabilities B(M1) can be obtained in the framework of semiclassical approximation. Analysis of a large majority of available data on B(M1) for high-spin states of collective bands in odd-odd nuclei shows that, for states of odd nucleons with j = 1 + 1/2, hastening of M1-transitions should be observed in the case of ''conflicting'' coupling and absent in the case of peaceful coupling. A Br-76 nucleus is an exception to this rule. The results of measurements of lifetimes of levels belonging to two collective bands are presented, and unusual behavior of M1-transitions in this nucleus is explained.
