摘要：
In De medicina of Celsus sleep is considered both as a symptom of disease and as therapy. In these treatises Celsus uses precepts and clinical cases of the medical tradition, particularly of Hippocrates, but also takes account of the Roman social context and its influence on the sleep-wake cycle and the conditions of sleep.
