TEXTBOOKS ON THE HISTORY OF THE RUSSIAN ARCHIVES AND OF ARCHIVE STUDY THOUGHT HISTORY ARE PUBLISHED

The review is devoted to textbooks on the Russian archives history during the 11-20th centuries and to development of the archive study thought, published by the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation and RSUH for students which are studying in the direction 034700 "Scientific discipline of documentation and archive studying". The social, scientific and practical importance of academic subjects consists in understanding by undergraduates and students of constantly increasing value of archives as basic element of " new global information infrastructure" (on UNESCO terminology) and the scientific thought characterizing level of creative self-knowledge of the person and society. In this context much attention is paid to studying of traditional structure "historians-archivists-archives" change. As a result of material studying the undergraduate and the student have to imagine distinctly correlation of the evolutionary processes reflecting dynamics of the archivist and the historian professions.
