摘要
Using the worldline Monte Carlo method, implemented on both the vector-oriented CRAY X-MP and the massively parallel Connection Machine CM-2, we have been able to study the one-dimensional extended Hubbard model at very large lattice sizes and very low temperatures. This report presents a general overview of the methods involved and some results obtained thus far, including equilibrium energies and susceptibilities as functions of the filling ratio-rho and the extended Hubbard parameters U and V.
