摘要
This article aims to identify and discuss continuing education programs aimed at literacy teachers in the state of Sao Paulo, analyzing the type of approach that is proposed to the work of the literacy teacher. The bibliographic-documentary survey of the following programs is presented as a research support: Profa. - Letra e Vida; Every Child Learning - Reading and Writing Support Program (PRALER); Pro-Literature; Reading and Writing and the National Literacy Program for the Right Age (PNAIC). It was concluded that all programs focus on literacy training so that the literacy rates of national exams are high. In this context, the work of the literacy teacher has been charged and blamed for quantitative results in relation to the learning of their students. This scenario is consistent with the intensification, precarization and self-intensification of teaching work, phenomena which are aggravated by the nature of the continuing education programs of literacy teachers analyzed in this study.
