W Benjamin inverts the conventional conception a history in older to show the reverse of the triunphant accounts of victories and progress. His new perspective shows an exceptional capacity of seizing virtualities and as deconstructing cliches. Following up his suggestions, this paper reconstructs the latent semantics of Klee's painting Angelus Nevus.
