摘要
Using College Guides to Teach Geography is a geographic learning activity targeted for grades 11-12, which utilizes statistical information concerning the distribution of colleges and universities offering a degree in geography. This activity uses data compiled by the Association of American Geographers related to college and university geography programs throughout the United States (although any college guide using similar information may be used). This geographic activity asks students to generate a map showing the frequency and distribution of college and university geography programs. Students are asked to share their maps with other students, and to compare and interpret their findings.
