摘要：
The work analyses the history of Russian - European economic and political relations. The role of Russian economic history for understanding mercantilism and M. Weber's hypothesis concerning protestant ethics and the spirit of capitalism is evaluated. The similarity between protestants and old believers is demonstrated.
