摘要
This paper presents an analysis of the deep-drawing process of cylindrical cups with flange using the finite element method. The deep-drawing of sheet metal parts having a good quality is highly influenced by the optimum exploitation of the formability and the control of the technological parameters. In order to avoid the rejection of the finished parts, a detailed investigation of the forming process mechanics is needed. The use of the numerical simulation is justified by its capability to provide useful data related to the deep-drawing processes.
