RAHMAN, M. A. & WILCOCK, C. C, 1992. A new species of Periploca (Periplocaceae) from Bangladesh. A new species of Periploca is described from Bangladesh. This is the only representative of the genus occurring in the flora of Bangladesh. It resembles P. graeca but may be distinguished by having shorter peduncles, glabrous calyx lobes, hairy coronal scales, broader and horizontally spreading follicles.
