摘要
We present results on the direct asymptotic analysis of the Marchenko integral equation for the nonlinear Schrodinger equation and apply them to describe soliton asymptotics of the solutions of the initial value problem for the NLS equation. It is shown that phases of solitons depend on the reflection coefficient of the corresponding Dirac operator. Formulas for the phase shifts are given.
