摘要
Oxidation of black coal vitrinite at 160-170-degrees-C has been carried out by molecular oxygen and by cool oxygen plasma. The differences in weight loss during both oxidations are shown. The increase in concentration of oxygen-containing groups and the proportion of polyconjugated systems were observed by i.r. spectroscopy during oxidation by molecular oxygen. There was no increase in oxygen-containing groups during cool oxygen plasma oxidation, which preceeded without preliminary accumulation of carbon-oxygen complexes.
