摘要
The corrosion behaviour of copper in 0.1M to 1M NaCl solutions has been studied by cyclic votammetry and polarisation methods. The copper dissolution takes place through the formation of CuCl since the anodic reaction order with respect to Cl- is one. The corrosion rate is found to be independent of Cl- and rotation speeds. The oxygen reduction on copper takes place through the formation of H2O2 intermediate.
