摘要
Networked systems imply mediated communication. Determined by the technical characteristics of the applied medium the perceptibility of the situative context is restricted and its reconstruction is complicated. Thus stress problems like lack or overload of information can evolve. There are different strategies to cope with this kind of stress. One of them - imagination - is both caused and supported by the reduction of the situative context. Thus social context cues do not disappear in mediated communication but are replaced by imagined social relations.
