INFLUENCE OF EASY IMPURITIES ON LATTICE-DYNAMICS OF CRYOCRYSTALS

The influence of a defective atom, whose mass is smaller than that of the matrix atom, on the crystal heat capacity is studied theoretically and experimentally for the Ar-Kr solution. It is shown that for easy impurities the dynamic interaction affects only the high-frequency region of the phonon spectrum, and up to very high concentrations of impurity atoms produces no appreciable influence on the behavior of the thermodynamic characteristics at low temperatures.
