PHARMACEUTICAL ASSISTANCE IN THE SINGLE HEALTH SYSTEM

The Pharmaceutical Assistance prioritizes the necessary procedures for the promotion, prevention and recovery of the individual and collective health of SUS users. The same is a practice that has been growing in community pharmacies. In several developed countries Pharmaceutical Care is already a reality and its practice is effective in reducing costs for the health system. The objective of this study was to identify the main aspects of the pharmaceutical assistance in SUS. The study was promoted through bibliographical research in articles, scientific journals, theses, among others. The data collection for this work was carried out through search in virtual databases, Google academic and SCIELO. It is concluded that this work is reporting in a clear and succinct manner the acquisition forms, conditions of storage and distribution of medicine aimed at pharmaceutical assistance under the SUS.
