摘要
When it comes to contemporary conditions, the success of an organistion depends much on the level of motivation of the organization's employees. Their productivity and dedication are directly related to how much the employees are motivated. An employee who is reliable and satisfied with his job is much more motivated to put all his effort in performing his duties more efficiently. Therefore, it is critically important for managements to research and determine the fields of motivation. People are different, and they have different needs, interests and wishes; each employee has his own set of motivating elements. To know them is to enable the managements to design an adequate reward system, through which the employees will be motivated and their behaviour directed towards a more successful realisation of both the organisation's goals and employees' respective goals. Since in our times the emphasis is being put more on the importance of having both the employees' needs for self-actuaulization and ego satisfied, this Elaborate is offering an explanation as to some of the basic strategies of non-monetary rewards. Non-monetary rewards as a strategy of motivation are the approach to the increased through satisfying their needs that are not related through money or other form of material compensations. They are the non-financial forms of rewarding that through various forms of awarding and job evaluation, management style, job design and organization are used to provide desirable behaviour of employees.
