NONLINEAR ACOUSTIC-WAVES IN MEDIA WITH ABSORPTION AND DISPERSION

(Methodological notes). Three practical laboratory works for graduate students were elaborated at a Chair of Acoustics. Department of Physics, Moscow State University: 1) Experimental study of nonlinear acoustic wives in media with absorption. 2) Acoustic beam nonlinear properties investigation by mathematical simulation using personal computer. 3) Experimental study of nonlinear phenomena of acoustic waves in dispersive media (capillary waves on a water surface). Students specializing in radiophysics study the theoretical description of nonlinear acoustic waves propagation as well as modern experimental methods of nonlinear acoustics working at these practical exercises.
