摘要
This paper introduces a new algorithm for establishing trust in wireless sensor networks (WSN) based on the quality of services (QoS) characteristics that must be fulfilled by participating nodes. The main focus is on trust calculating, trust updating and trust reporting. Three major sources of information are used for computing trust: previous experience with the nodes, recommendations from the one-hop nodes, and risk trust in nodes. This research adopts a dynamic updating of the entire scheme based upon new interactions of network nodes. Trust in WSN plays an important role in constructing the network and making the addition or deletion of sensor nodes from a network very smooth and transparent. The creation, operation, management, and survival of WSN as a special type of ad-hoc network, greatly depend upon the cooperation and trust nature of its nodes. Extensive simulations are carried out to validate its effectiveness and efficiency.
