摘要
The magneto-optical polar Kerr rotation spectra of Fe/Ag bilayers made by vacuum evaporation are measured. In the spectra an enhancement rotation peak occurs near 560 nm. For comparison. the calculated magneto-optical Kerr rotation spectra are given. It is found that the necessary conditions for the Kerr rotation enhancement are low values of the optical constants n and k of the reflector, especially the value of n must be less than 1.0. The calculated off-diagonal element of the effective dielectric constant tensor-epsilon(xye) is also given.
