摘要
The increasing demand for better quality CAT/CAL applications brings again to light the issue of courseware development; research tends to orient from production tools (like authoring-systems, authoring-languages) towards integrated courseware engineering systems (or courseware engineering environment). These environments integrate Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Multimedia techniques and tools. Their goal is to increase the integration of the necessary tools for courseware production (from design stage to maintenance stage). Various kinds of research are involved in this stream. The objective of this paper is to show the sphere of activity of Courseware Engineering, The study which is reported in this document comprises two main steps. In step one, we identify the different projects involved in the courseware engineering domain. The second step is to develop the project of the API's laboratory, called AGDI. In this step, we try to identify the changes which would appear in the near future.
