摘要：
Three cases of segmental infarction of the gastrocolic omentum are reported. This fairly infrequent condition is responsible for gradually worsening pain in the right side of the abdomen. Mostly, surgery is performed with a preoperative diagnosis of appendicitis or acute cholecystitis. The cause remains obscure. However, patients probably exhibit an anatomic-embryologic anomaly explaining the segmental distribution and localization in the right side of the omentum.
