摘要
Nowadays, society encourages the massive use of technology in all fields, including educational field and, by extension, the teaching and learning of those people with specific educational support needs, including those with Down Syndrome. In this regard, our purpose is to know to what extent the implementation of technological resources influences the education of the aforementioned collective. In order to achieve our purpose, we carried out a bibliometric research, analyzing documents related to the subject-matter, written in the last fifteen years and published in four different databases (Scopus, Eric, Google Scholar and Dialnet). The sample is made up of 55 studies and their main results reveal that Information and Communication Technologies, used under an appropriate methodology and with the relevant adjustments, are an efficient resource to adapt the curriculum to this group of people, and improve the educational, personal and social development.
