摘要
A new method for precise calculation of harmonic flux densities of induction motors and its verification by experiment are presented in this paper. A new conception named “harmonic permeance” has been introduced for precise determination of air gap permeance pulsation caused by slot openings, which are calculated using finite element field solution. The authors have also found that the same harmonic flux has distinctively different magnitude on the stator inner and rotor outer peripheries, and it is necessary to fully take the differences into account for obtaining good results. The calculated values of harmonic flux densities agreed with experimental results adequately on the whole. © 1990, IEEE. All rights reserved.
