摘要
Interpreting the real world starting from a fictional one may finally lead to imaginary results. However, codes that are too strong to be separated from real life lie behind the fiction without their creator realizing this fact. These codes can be devised not only in fiction but also in the real world by their creator. When regarded, both these worlds are in a very strong interaction and the results based on these codes can be effective for both of the worlds. It is very likely to reach many questions and answers on the subject of masculinity in this direction, through such kind of movies. This study focuses on some physical and social phases of the construction of hegemonic masculinity through "le Boucher" (Butcher) character in Carne (1991) and I Stand Alone (1998), movies of Gaspar Noe. These movies provide a unique view of masculinity crisis, revealing the subconscious of a male hero while making it possible to draw a parallel between fiction and non-fiction.
