摘要
This study assessed vegetable farmers' access to postharvest management information in Benue State, Nigeria. One hundred thirty-five respondents were selected using multistage, purposive, and random sampling techniques. Data were collected using a well-structured questionnaire. The results revealed that most of the respondents (85.2%) obtained their postharvest management information from informal sources, and their level of access to the information is low. Logit regression statistics showed that possession of formal education and farm size significantly affected respondents' level of access to postharvest management information. It is therefore recommended that postharvest management information be communicated to farmers through informal sources and formal education be encouraged.
