In this paper we apply the weakly Picard operators technique to study the following second order functional differential equations of mixed type -x ''(t) = f(t, x(t), integral(t)(t-h) x(s)ds, integral(t+h)(t) x(s)ds), t is an element of [a, b], h > 0.
