摘要
Human adipose tissue samples of an occupationally exposed and an unexposed person were analyzed for PCBs by high-resolution gas chromatography and high-resolution H-1 NMR. In addition to parental compounds. PCBs partially oxidized at the most reactive sites of benzene rings were detected and identified by H-1 NMR in the samples of the exposed person, while samples of the unexposed person contained only minimal amounts of PCBs. Under certain circumstances, some partially oxidized PCB congeners may be discriminated in human adipose tissue.
