摘要
A typical application of the finite element method in civil engineering is presented. The response of a high-density polyethylene-deposit shaft, modelled by 200 shell elements, to the special influences due to its positioning within the refuse body is investigated. It is shown that the finite element method is a proper instrument to evaluate the particular relevance of single influences.
